A Forest Management Plan (FMP) is prepared for each Forest Management Unit in the province of Ontario. As the Sustainable Forest Lisence holder for the Algoma Forest, Clergue Forest Management Inc. is responsible for preparing the FMP for the unit. The FMP is a comprehensive document including a detailed description of the management unit, forest practices, long term direction for the unit, sustainability indicators, criteria, objectives, as well as a comprehensive description for monitoring forest practices.
